Robert L. Dunlap of Hamburg, a retired industrial engineer, died Friday in the Lakewood Health Care Center in Hamburg after a lengthy illness. He was 81.
Born in Philipsburg, Pa., Mr. Dunlap served in the European and Pacific theaters with the Navy during World War II. He worked at Bethlehem Steel Corp. from 1954 until his retirement in 1983.
Mr. Dunlap was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Lovell of Hamburg; two sons, Robert L. II of Lakeland, Mich., and Jack of Hamburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be in Philipsburg.
