The wedding of Nicole Renee Voigt and Wayne Thomas Murphy III took place at 2 p.m. Saturday in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Orchard Park. Monsignor Paul J.E. Burkard heard their exchange of nuptial vows. The bride is the daughter of Sharon A. and David W. Voigt of Hamburg and the bridegroom is the son of Patricia and Wayne T. Murphy II of Liverpool. A reception was given in CreeksideBanquet & Picnic Grove for the newly married couple. After a trip to Kauai, Hawaii, they will make their home in Albany, where the bride is a registered nurse with Upstate Neurology and the bridegroom is terminal manager for Overnite Transportation. She is a graduate of Orchard Park Central High School and Niagara University. The bridegroom is a Liverpool High School graduate.


Heather Giordano and David Scibetta were married by the Rev. Richard A. Reina at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Kenmore. A reception was given in Banchetti by Rizzo's for the daughter of Russell M. Giordano of Town of Tonawanda and Karen M. Lovely of Cincinnati, Ohio, and the son of Albert P. Scibetta of Williamsville and Christine A. Scibetta of Town of Tonawanda. A graduate of Padua Academy High School in Wilmington, Del., the bride attended University of Delaware and Buffalo State College and is a training specialist with M&T Bank. A graduate of Williamsville North High School and University at Buffalo, the bridegroom is a systems integrator employed by Copier Fax Business Technologies, Buffalo. They will travel to New Zealand and Australia and live in Kenmore.


En route to Greece are Michael McDonough and his bride, Courtney Della Penna, who were united in marriage during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Batavia. The Rev. Joseph Walters heard the couple's exchange of nuptial vows. A reception was given in Batavia Country Club. The bride is the daughter of Rocco and Georgene Della Penna of Batavia and the bridegroom is the son of Dr. Gene and Sue McDonough of Orchard Park. The newly married couple will be making their home in Virginia Beach, Va., where the bride is head athletic trainer in First Colonial High School and the bridegroom is a sales representative of Paychex. She is a graduate of Pfeiffer University and received a master's degree in kinesiology from Madison University. He is a University at Buffalo graduate.


Mary Christa Rudewicz, public relations manager for Six Flags Darien Lake, and David Angelo Sellan, owner of Greenscape Designs, were united in marriage during a ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday in Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, West Seneca. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy heard the nuptial vows of the daughter of Dr. Robert and Kathleen Rudewicz of West Seneca and the son of Angelo and Debra Sellan of Corfu. A reception was given in Romanello's South Restaurant for the newly married couple, who will live in West Seneca after traveling to the Mayan Riviera, Mexico. The bride is a graduate of West Seneca East High School and University at Buffalo. A graduate of Pembroke High School and Cobleskill State College of Technology, the bridegroom is attending Buffalo State College.
