Terrance N. Gibbs, a former manager, died Sunday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center after a long illness. He was 65.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. Gibbs worked as a manager for American Linen in Rochester for many years, retiring in 1995. He was an Army veteran serving in the late 1950s.
Mr. Gibbs was a member of the American Legion, Loyal Order of Moose and Dom Polski, and enjoyed motorcycle riding.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, the former Gloria Reif of Buffalo; two daughters, Julia Paul of Buffalo and Karen Gross of North Tonawanda; three sons, Jonathan of La Plata, Md., Terrance Jr. of New Castle, Del., and Robert of North Tonawanda; two sisters, Gloria Macy of Buffalo and Patricia Mullany of Grand Island; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A private memorial service will be held.
