Services for Wilmertine Sevillian, a seamstress and manager for M. Wile & Co. for 30 years, will be at noon Thursday in New Covenant United Church of Christ, 459 Clinton St. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
Mrs. Sevillian died Wednesday in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. She was 66.
Born Wilmertine Sharp in Reidsville, Ga., she moved to Buffalo with her family as a child. She graduated from Fosdick-Masten Park High School and worked at M. Wile & Co., a clothing factory, for about 30 years before retiring in the mid-1990s.
Mrs. Sevillian was a member of New Covenant Church, the Women Bowlers International Congress and Chapter 10, Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and shopping.
Her husband of seven years, Robert, died in 2003.
Survivors include a son, Tyrone Sharp Sr. of Buffalo; three sisters, Vernell Sharp of Buffalo, Geraldine Green of Buffalo and Jean Carolyn Osborne of Philadelphia; four brothers, Leroy Sharp of Buffalo, Carnell Sharp of Pittsburgh, Dean Crump of DeSoto, Texas, and James Sharp of Tacoma, Wash.; and a grandson.
