Nancy Valicenti of Fort Pierce, Fla., a former Warsaw resident, died Friday in Longwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce, after a brief illness. She was 53.
Born Nancy Spink in Warsaw, she attended Notre Dame High School in Batavia and was a 1970 graduate of Warsaw Central High School. She also was a graduate of Graham Junior College in Boston, Mass.
After working as a hairstylist in college, she was a registered nurse for many years in Florida. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Fort Pierce.
Surviving are two sons, Ryan Mally of Apopka, Fla., and Nicholas of Fort Pierce; her parents, Richard H. and Jennie Spink of Warsaw; four brothers, Ken Spink of Castile and Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Burnie, Dennis and Richard Spink, all of Warsaw; and her fiance, Harold Hardiman of Fort Pierce.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Michael Catholic Church, 171 N. Main St., after prayers at 9:30 in Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
