Jill Marie Masters became the bride of Christopher Gordon Neuhaus as the couple were united in marriage during a ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph University Catholic Church.
The Rev. Jacob C. Ledwon heard their exchange of nuptial vows.
A reception was given in Hyatt Regency Buffalo for the daughter of Bradford and Kathryn Masters of Grand Island and the son of Dr. Walter Neuhaus and Ann Wren, both of Grand Island.
The couple are graduates of Grand Island High School.
Also a graduate of Duqesne University, the bride has a master's degree in music education from University at Buffalo. Choral director for Kenmore East High School, she has performed as a soloist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, Buffalo Choral Arts, and the Amherst Symphony Orchestra.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, the bridegroom is pursuing a master's degree in economics at UB. A business analyst with M&T Bank, he is also the fiscal officer for Westminster Community Charter School.
After a trip to Jamaica, the newly married couple will make their home in Buffalo.
