Christmas spirit

Are teens still excited about the whole Christmas thing? NeXt decided to track down five teens to find out if the Christmas spirit outlasts childhood.

Q: What was your favorite Christmas gift ever?

A: My hamsters.

Q: What was your best Christmas ever?

A: The year I got my Furbie. My family was ready to kill me when I got the batteries in it on Christmas day. It was funny. I was about 9 or 10.

Q: What do you usually do on Christmas?

A: Go to my grandparents' house, open presents there and eat.

Q: Now that you're older, are you still excited about Christmas?

A: Yes. [I like] the gifts, the snow, snow days, and family get-togethers.

Q: Favorite Christmas gift ever?

A: Nintendo 64. I was about 8 years old.

Q: What was your best Christmas ever?

A: Last year. It was the last year with my grandma.

Q: Now that you're older, are you still excited about Christmas?

A: Yes. It's the time when our family gets together, gets closer. Hanging out with friends during the holidays. It gets me excited when Christmas comes around.

Q: Favorite Christmas gift ever?

A: Tickets to the Bills game.

Q: Best Christmas ever?

A: Last year, 2004. My cousin Matt who was in an accident a while ago was let out of the hospital and had the chance to enjoy Christmas with us. The miracle where Matt didn't die, he was with us for Christmas. Seeing him smile while opening his gifts. That was my best Christmas ever.

A: My Size Barbie (when I was about 8 years old).

Q: What do you usually do on Christmas?

A: Wake up, open presents, sit on the stairs and take pictures with my brothers and sisters. Later, I go to my grandparents' house for dinner.

A: The Barbie Dream House. I was about 6 or 7.

Q: Best Christmas ever?

A: My best Christmas ever would have to be last year's. (2004) I got a lot of stuff I wanted.
