>Possession of marijuana and weapons charged
COLDSPRING -- A Randolph man will appear in Coldspring Town Court later this month on charges of marijuana possession and weapons possession after police arrived at his house to investigate a burglary complaint late Sunday and found contraband, Cattaraugus County sheriff's officials reported.
Deputies said they found a quantity of marijuana and an illegal handgun at the Route 394 home of Jeffrey A. Craumer, 48.
Craumer was released pending a Dec. 27 court appearance.
>Chautauqua sheriff adds four to wanted list
MAYVILLE -- Four Chautauqua County men have been added this week to the county's wanted list.
The Sheriff's Department said Joshua Hebner, 20, of Stockton, has been accused of involvement in a stolen-property ring and might have fled the state. Police are asking for the public's help in locating him.
Shawn Stilson, 24, of Frewsburg, is wanted in a case of third-degree grand larceny.
Nicholas Call, 24, of Buffalo is being sought on allegations of violating probation in a third-degree assault case.
Lawrence Nadeau Jr., 28, of Dunkirk, is wanted on allegations of violating probation for felony driving without a license.
Anyone with information on these four or anyone else on the wanted list should call the Sheriff's Department at 753-2131.
>Young robber comes up short at restaurant
A 4-foot-11 teenager attempted to rob a Grider Street McDonald's at gunpoint Monday but fled after restaurant employees refused to give him any money, Buffalo police reported.
McDonald's employees told police that they were approached by the thin male about 13 years old who pulled out a silver colored revolver and told employees to "open up the cash register." He fled through the south side door when they refused to comply.
The robber was caught on tape. He wore a black hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
