The Karate World Games are coming to Buffalo, with world titles to be decided in adult and junior divisions. The juniors will compete at 8 p.m. Dec. 28 and 30, while the adults will square off at 8 p.m. Dec. 29 and 31. BASEBALL: The Canisius College baseball team is holding three camps for players 9 years old through high school-age. BOATING: A reminder that a new state law in New York goes into effect Jan. 1 that raises the minimum age for operators of personal watercraft from 10 to 14.


SOFTBALL: The annual Buffalo State College pitching clinic will begin on Jan. 8 and run for six consecutive Sundays. Call Sandy Hollander at 878-5425.
