A memorial Mass was offered Friday in St. Stephen's Church, Grand Island, for Patricia J. Arcouet of Grand Island, who died Monday in Erie County Medical Center after being hit by a car on Bedell Road on Grand Island that day. She was 67. Burial was in United German & French Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
Born Patricia Secula in Shamokin, Pa., she was a 1956 graduate of Kulpmont High School.
While working as a secretary at the U.S. Justice Department in Washington, D.C., she met her husband, Harold J. They married in 1957.
She enjoyed her art club, bingo and traveling.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Harold J. Jr. of Grand Island and Jeffrey of Sanborn; two daughters, Susan Hillock of Grand Island and Shelly Smith of Gilbertsville, Pa.; a brother, John Secula of Marion Heights, Pa.; and four sisters, Anna Labowski of Marion Heights, Mary Mudrick of Philadelphia, Rosemarie Spieles of Norristown, Pa., and Dolores Seroski of Reno, Nev.
