Clarissa F. Griffin, a retired employee of the Buffalo Psychiatric Center, died Tuesday in Grace Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. She was 63.
Born Clarissa F. Sevillian in Buffalo, she graduated from Grover Cleveland High School.
She was a mental health therapy aide for 31 years at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center, retiring in the late 1990s because of a disability.
Survivors include a daughter, Minique Stevens of Buffalo; three sisters, Cleatrice Hinshaw and Sylvia Walker, both of Buffalo, and Ernestine Prince of California; two brothers, Henry C. Sevillian of Buffalo and Clarence M. Sevillian of Michigan; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at noon Monday in Mount Zion Church of God, 32 Oak Grove Ave., preceded by a wake at 11. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
