A memorial service for AnnaMarie Mika will be held at 9:30 a.m. today y in Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church, 8445 Greiner Road, Clarence.
Mrs. Mika died Tuesday in her Williamsville home after a short illness. She was 79.
Born AnnaMarie Flynn in Buffalo, she graduated from St. Mary's School for the Deaf.
A former Town of Tonawanda resident, she worked at Harrison Radiator in Buffalo, mostly as a welder. After some 20 years, she retired in the 1980s and moved to West Palm Beach, Fla., with her husband.
Her husband of 53 years, Ed, died in 2000, and she moved back to the Buffalo area.
She loved to sew and knit.
Survivors include two sons, John of the Town of Tonawanda and Daniel of Buffalo; and four grandchildren.
