Gerald R. Morehouse of Buffalo, a retired Westinghouse line operator, died Wednesday in Sisters Hospital after a brief illness. He was 75.
Mr. Morehouse, a Buffalo native, was educated at St. Mary's School for the Deaf. He was a member of the Buffalo Deaf Club and helped remodel the club's new quarters on Clinton Street.
He worked at Westinghouse Electric Corp. for more than 23 years as a manufacturing line operator.
His wife of 40 years, Lucille Adamczak Morehouse, died in 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Robert G. and Donald F., both of Buffalo; a sister, Viola Bentsen of Alameda, Calif.; a brother, Frank of Cheektowaga; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church, 157 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
