The Buffalo accounting firm of Dopkins and Company named Suzanne Wisniewski Tzetzo a tax accountant in the firm's Tax Advisory Group. A graduate from the University at Buffalo, Tzetzo is a participant in the university's Graduate Tax Certificate Program. She has seven years of public accounting experience.


First Niagara named Brenda Michalowski assistant vice president and branch manager of its new location at 325 Orchard Park Road. Most recently with Key Bank, Michalowski has more than 15 years of banking experience.


Flynn and Friends Advertising principals Mitch Flynn and Marc Adler recently presented "Marketing by the Numbers," to the 2006 class of the University at Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. Flynn and Friends is an advertising agency located at 437 Franklin St.


Rees Associates, an Oklahoma City planning and architecture firm, appointed Stephen Lawson an architect and project manager with the firm. Lawson is a former resident of Alfred and graduated from the University at Buffalo.

Suchak Data Systems of Grand Island, a technology service provider for community banks, is partnering with Fairport-based xDefenders to cross-market each other's services. The partnership will expand Suchak's market to a new group of customers, while adding xDefender's information security and Internet security to the offerings available to Suchak's bank customers. Suchak currently provides ATM, check-processing, online bill processing, and other back-office services to Evans Bancorp, Bank of Akron, and Lake Shore Savings & Loan Association, among others.
