Earline J. Dockery of Amherst, a pastor and retired Erie County employee, died Monday in the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center after a long illness. She was 61.
Born Earline Jones in Pittsburgh, Mrs. Dockery moved to Buffalo as a child and remained in the city until moving to Amherst five years ago. She was a graduate of Fosdick-Masten Park High School
Prior to retiring in 1984, she worked 17 years as an accounting clerk for Erie County.
She had been pastor of Blessed Hope Victorious Church in Buffalo since 2000.
She enjoyed cooking.
Mrs. Dockery is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ronald Sr.; a daughter, Ronnette M. of Amherst; two sons, Ronald A. Jr. of Getzville and Andrew M. of Amherst; two brothers, Luellen Jones Jr. and Lilton Jones of Buffalo; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday in the Greater Apostolic House of Prayer, 1455 Fillmore Ave. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, West Seneca.
