Nunzio Rosina Sept. 25, 1927 -- Dec. 8, 2005

A Mass of Christian Burial for Nunzio Rosina will be offered at 10:45 a.m. today in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1085 Englewood Ave., Town of Tonawanda. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.

Mr. Rosina died unexpectedly Thursday in his Town of Tonawanda home. He was 78.

Born in Buffalo, he graduated from Erie Community College and served with the Army for two years in post-World War II Japan.

Mr. Rosina had worked as a lab technician at Carborundum Co. and was a member of Bricklayers Local 45. He retired in 1991.

He was a member of Town of Tonawanda Senior Citizen Center and a fan of the Buffalo Bills.

Survivors include his wife, the former Isabell Anetrini of the Town of Tonawanda; a daughter, Gloria Petrus of the Town of Tonawanda; a son, Robert of Depew; a sister, Sarah Salinardo of the Town of Tonawanda; a brother, Victor of Ridgeway, Ont.; and four grandchildren.
