Patricia Ann Brown of Buffalo, a devoted member of St. John Baptist Church and its choirs, died Wednesday in Waterfront Health Care Center after a lengthy illness. She was 62.
The Buffalo native was a graduate of East High School.
Mrs. Brown worked for several years at Goodwill and later at F.W. Woolworth.
After raising her children, she earned a bachelor's degree, with honors, in food service management from Buffalo State College.
She was an active member of St. John Baptist Church, where she sang in the junior choir, the youth choir and the United Voices of St. John.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Timothy J. and Paul A., both of Spartanburg, S.C.; two brothers, Joseph S. of Buffalo and Tilmon F. of Avon Lake, Ohio; and two grandsons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John Baptist Church, 184 Goodell St., after a wake at 10. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
