The Niagara Frontier Automobile Dealers Association and Lancaster Raceway Park are collaborating on an event tonight that will promote automotive technology careers.
Bobby Martin, a Lewiston native and "funny car" driver, will participate in a match race at the track and speak to area high school and college students.
Martin will answer questions about careers at area DaimlerChrysler dealerships, as well as his car and crew of technicians.
Jim Reid, Lancaster Raceway Park's owner, has distributed 2,500 tickets to high school and college auto students in the region.
NFADA is actively involved in promoting auto technology careers.
