Allison Jimerson July 27, 1931 -- Sept. 27, 2005

Allison Jimerson, 74, formerly of Buffalo and Niagara Falls, died Tuesday at her home.

Born Allison Watt in Quakerbridge, she was a graduate of Thomas Indian School. She had an associate's degree in social services from Medaille College.

She had worked as a short-order cook for the Snack Shack in Buffalo and the Wedge Restaurant in Niagara Falls, prior to retiring and moving to Salamanca.

Mrs. Jimerson was a member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Turtle Clan.

Surviving are two daughters, Sheila Keeves of West Seneca and Jennifer of Killbuck; four sons, Curtis and Timothy, both of Salamanca, Thomas John and Theodore John, both of Allegany; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Annie Lofts.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in O'Rourke & O'Rourke Funeral Home, 25 River St. Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg.
