NIAGARA FALLS -- Stephen Gasbarre, a former employee of the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission, died Monday in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 58.
Born in Niagara Falls, he graduated from Niagara Falls High School.
Mr. Gasbarre worked for the bridge commission for 25 years until the mid-1990s. He also was a toll collector and then a security guard at Rainbow Mall.
Survivors include a brother, Sam J. Jr. of Niagara Falls.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
