ANTIQUE EXTRAVAGANZA: The 50th annual antique show and sale sponsored by the Hamburg Antiques Study Group will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the Grange Building on the Hamburg Fairgrounds. The show is the main fund-raiser for the Boies-Lord House, the Greek revial house restored by the group.
FIELD BAND SHOW: The Lancaster High School Band will hold a field band show called Redskin Revelry at 6 p.m. Saturday in Foyle-Kling Field, adjacent to the high school, 1 Forton Drive. The program will feature field band units from high schools in Leroy, Wellsville and Pioneer Central, West Seneca, Baldwinsville, Jamestown, Medina, Orchard Park and the Marcus Whitman Central School District in Rushville. Tickets are $5 in advance; $6 on the day of the event.
SCULPTURE EXHIBIT: "Postmodern Sculpture: the Power and Presence of Form," an exhibition of copper, steel and wood sculpture, ceremonial body adornment and art furniture by five American sculptors, will open Saturday at Jamestown Community College's Jamestown campus. The event includes an artists' reception and refreshments in the Scharmann Theatre lobby at 6:30 p.m., a lecture by exhibition cocurator Leonard Urso in the Sarita Hopkins Weeks Reception Hall at 7, and music by Latin jazz band Salsamba at 7:45.
