Services for Geraldine L. Ennis, a retired stock-record clerk, were held Monday evening in Kenmore United Methodist Church. Inurnment was in the church columbarium.
The Town of Tonawanda resident died Thursday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 84.
Born Geraldine Brady in Altoona, Pa., she graduated from Altoona High School and served in the Marine Corps during World War II. She came to Western New York in 1951 and worked as a stock-record clerk in the Sears warehouse in Buffalo for more than 25 years. She retired in 1983.
Survivors include a son, Richard Jr. of Buffalo; two daughters Janiene M. Ennis-Garcia of the Town of Tonawanda and Linda Gernold of Orchard Park; and three grandchildren.
