Motorcyclist, 31, faces drunken-driving counts
RANDOLPH -- A Conewango man was arrested Sunday morning after he was seen riding erratically on his motorcycle, Cattaraugus County sheriff's deputies said.
Michael A. Doubek, 31, of Northeast Road, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with more than 0.08 blood-alcohol content, failing to stay in the proper lane and operating an uninspected motor vehicle.
Deputies said Doubek failed a field sobriety tests after he was stopped at about 12:15 a.m. on Main Street.
Released on his own recognizance, he was scheduled to appear in a Town of Randolph court at a later date.
Woman arrested after man is stabbed in his apartment
A Grimes Street woman was arrested early Sunday morning after a man was stabbed in his apartment on Broadway near Memorial Drive.
Lydia Battle-Moncrieft, 44, was arrested on the complaint of Jerome Foster Sr., who said she stabbed him in the left upper bicep and right index finger during an argument. Foster was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment.
Ferry-Fillmore District officers said they recovered the knife and arrested the woman, charging her with possession of a weapon and felony assault.
