Thomas F. Ricotta and his bride, Connie J. Schmitz, were united in marriage during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Oregon. The Rev. Peter J. Karalus heard the couple's exchange of nuptial vows. A reception was given in Lake Erie Italian Club. The bride is the daughter of David and Joyce Schmitz and the bridegroom is the son of Francis and Patricia Ricotta, all of North Collins. Tax manager at Lumsden & McCormick, the bride is a graduate of Daemen College. She is treasurer of Working for Downtown and is a volunteer for Make A Wish Foundation of Western New York. The bridegroom, a graduate of Fredonia State College, is a radiologic control technician for West Valley Nuclear Services Co. and is a member of North Boston Volunteer Fire Company. The newly married couple will travel to Hawaii and will make their home in Boston.
