Lake Shore Savings & Loan Association, which is in the process of converting from a depositor-owned thrift to a publicly traded company, has hired Suchak Data Systems of Grand Island to provide online bill payment processing services for its Internet banking customers.
Chartered in 1891, Dunkirk-based Lake Shore has $331 million in assets, seven branches and more than 100 employees. The thrift has been expanding services as it's branched into new markets, including in Erie County.
Suchak is a full-service technology provider for community banks that runs ATMs, processes checks, handles online and telephone banking systems, and performs other back-office functions. It began running ATMs for Lake Shore earlier this year.
