The Western New York Independent Living Project offers "Double Trouble." The support group for individuals recovering from mental disorders and addiction problems will meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Marvin Palanker Conference Room, WNY Independent Living Project, 3108 Main St. near Highgate Avenue. Bornhava Specialized Preschool, 25 Chateau Terrace, Snyder, offers early intervention and preschool evaluations and therapeutic services for children from birth through age 5 who have special needs. Services are provided at the center, at home or elsewhere in the community. Parents Anonymous of Buffalo and Erie County offers help for children with special needs often associated with neglect and abuse. Support groups for children and parents, respite care, recreational activities, family crisis management and a parent advice line are all available to families. For information, call 892-2172.

CHC Learning Center, 80 Lawrence Bell Drive, Suite 115, Amherst, provides educational and therapeutic programming for preschool and school-age children (infant to 21 years of age).
