Couple receive guests in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Tahoe Stonehenge in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., was the setting as Gretchen Jehle and Kurt A. Sable exchanged vows at 2 p.m. Saturday, prior to a reception.

The Rev. Nelson Van Gundy of San Francisco Theological Seminary heard the nuptial vows of the daughter of Patricia A. and William R. Jehle of Williamsville and the son of Helga A. and Arthur J. Sable of Kings Beach, Calif.

A graduate of Williamsville South High School and Duke University, the bride has a master's degree in ecology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and is a wildlife biologist with the U.S. Forest Service in Lassen National Forest, Chester, Calif.

The bridegroom, a graduate of North Tahoe High School (Calif.) and University of Nevada in Reno, has a master's degree in geosciences from Colorado State. He is a hydrologist with the Forest Service.

After a trip to Kauai, Hawaii, the couple will live in Chester.
