WALK: Supporters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York are hosting a 2-mile "Walk for Wishes." Registration begins at 10 a.m. today in Island Park in Williamsville and the walk starts at 10:30 a.m. There will be a picnic following the event. CAR PROGRAM: The Watch Your Car program consists of two parts: a window sticker program and a VIN etching program. The window sticker program allows the police to stop your vehicle if it is on the road between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m., and the etching program consists of the etching of the vehicle's VIN into the window. Both programs are designed to deter vehicle thefts. The program will be held from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Cleveland Hill Fire Department, 440 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga.
