NIAGARA FALLS -- A memorial service for Aitzemnik Borget, a former Ransomville resident who worked as a waitress in the area for 25 years, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 140 Rainbow Blvd. North. Burial was in Colbert Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia, Ala.
Mrs. Borget died Aug. 28 in Sheffield, Ala., where she had moved in 1996. She was 85.
Known as "Cha Cha," she had been a waitress at Mike Saloh's Supper Club in Lockport, Harding's Restaurant in Youngstown and Hillview Cafe in Lewiston. She retired in 1986.
She was a former member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Wilson.
Her husband, Roger E., died in 1995.
Survivors include three sons, Gary Baker and Don, both of Sheffield, and Ken Baker of Conway, Ark.; a daughter, Candi Bax of Niagara Falls; a sister, Shahandookht Baer of North Tonawanda; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
