Laurente "Larry" Ciccone, owner of CMC Concrete in Wheatfield, died Sunday in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, after a brief illness. He was 56.
Mr. Ciccone was born in
Pacentro, Italy, attended schools in his native land and relocated to Canada in 1966.
In 1972, he married Kathleen M. Janish, and in 1975 they moved to Clarence Center, where he lived until the time of his death.
For more than 30 years, Mr. Ciccone worked as a concrete finisher in Erie and Niagara counties.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Christofer and Gary, and a daughter, Brianna, all of Clarence Center; his father, Pasquale of Pacentro; a sister, Tonina Cercone of Pacentro; and four brothers, Fernando of Welland, Ont., and Roberto, Emilio and Francesco, all of Pacentro.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Town of Niagara.
