Jeanette Wockasen, beauty salon owner Dec. 4, 1914 -- Sept. 15, 2005

Jeanette R. Wockasen of Brooksville, Fla., a retired beauty salon owner previously of Kenmore and Angola, died Thursday in Brooksville Hospice Care Center from heart failure. She was 90.

Born Jeanette Mollnar in Buffalo, she owned Edmond's Beauty Salon in Kenmore and Bennett Beauty Salon in Angola for about 15 years until 1990, when she moved to Florida. She styled hair for about five years until she retired in 1995.

Ms. Wockasen is survived by a son, Patrick M. Regoord of Brooksville; a brother, Fabian S. Mollnar of Angola; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Lake and Prospect streets, Angola.
