Man exposes himself in St. Catharines school

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. -- A man in his 30s entered a St. Catharines school Monday morning and exposed himself to several students in a hallway, Niagara Regional Police reported.

The man was in a hallway near the front lobby of West Park Secondary School at about 10 a.m. when the incident occurred. After he exposed himself, the man fled, police said.

Those involved were provided counseling at the school, and their families were notified.

Basement electrical fire in Falls is probed

NIAGARA FALLS -- Niagara Falls fire officials are attempting to determine what triggered an electrical fire in the basement of 1393 102nd St. shortly before 3:30 a.m. Monday.

Damage was listed as $20,000 to the building and $10,000 to the contents. The occupant of the home was identified as Ellen Primerano.
