Stella Harris, a homemaker who once worked at Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls, died Friday in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness. She was 95.
Born Stella Grochala in Niagara Falls, she attended schools there. During World War II, she took a production job at Carborundum.
Her first husband, Walter "Slim" Nawrocki, died in 1957 after 31 years of marriage. Her second husband, Norman G. Harris, died in 1983 after 23 years of marriage.
She is survived by 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Zajac Funeral Home, 319 24th St., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
