Milestones

QB Brett Favre, Packers, joined Dan Marino and John Elway with 50,000 yards passing and also broke Elway's single-stadium NFL touchdown record of 180 with a 4-yard toss to Tony Fisher with four seconds left at Lambeau Field.

LaDainian Tomlinson, Chargers, ran for a 16-yard touchdown against Denver to set an NFL record with TDs rushing in 14 straight games. Tomlinson took a pitch and ran around right end untouched into the end zone to give San Diego a 7-3 lead early in the second quarter. He broke the record he shared with John Riggins (1982-83) and George Rogers (1985-86), who both set it with the Redskins.

WR Jimmy Smith, Jaguars, became the 12th player in NFL history to catch 800 passes. In the second quarter at Indianapolis, he caught a 21-yarder from Byron Leftwich to join the 800 club. Henry Ellard is 11th with 814.

WR Terrell Owens, Eagles, went over 10,000 yards receiving, making him the 22nd player in NFL history to reach that mark.

Injuries

QB Michael Vick, Falcons, left the game at Seattle in the fourth quarter with leg cramps.

Jacksonville quarterback Byron Leftwich appeared to injure his left leg as he was bent over backward late in Sunday's 10-3 loss to Indianapolis, but returned with 1:44 remaining. He played in pain the rest of the game. The Jaguars also lost safety Donovin Darius with a sprained left knee.

The Texans lost DE Gary Walker to a sprained left shoulder in the first quarter against Pittsburgh.

Streaks and stats

Pittsburgh (2-0) won its 16th straight regular-season game, matching the Miami teams of 1971-73 and 1983-84 for the second-best streak in league history. Next up toward the record of 18 is the record-holder, New England, in Pittsburgh next Sunday; the Steelers snapped that streak by beating the Patriots in Pittsburgh last October. The Steelers also won their eighth straight on the road, one shy of the team record.

Remy Hamilton, signed Friday to the practice squad and activated before the game, replaced Detroit kicker Jason Hanson (hamstring). That ended Hanson's streak of 209 games, third longest among active players.

Tom Brady, Patriots, threw a 1-yard TD pass to Deion Branch against Carolina, the 100th touchdown throw of his career.

Marvin Harrison's three catches gave the Colts wideout 854 in his career, breaking a tie for sixth with Irving Fryar.
