Michael T. Duggan, a longtime employee of HSBC Bank, died Thursday in his Town of Tonawanda home following a lengthy illness. He was 56.
Born in Batavia, Mr. Duggan was a graduate of Canisius High School. He received an associate's degree in business from Bryant & Stratton.
Since 1972, Mr. Duggan had been a credit manager for HSBC in downtown Buffalo.
His interests included music, concerts and political discussions.
Survivors include his wife, the former Julie S. Lennon; four daughters, Lesley A. Battaglia of Buffalo, Mary Beth Hawkins of Seekonk, Mass., Gretchen M. Weiss of Benton, N.H., and Heather M. of the Town of Tonawanda; and three sons, Robert M. of the Town of Tonawanda, Mark T. of Dunkirk and Peter M. Schaus of Buffalo.
Additional survivors include his mother, Mary B. of Buffalo; four sisters, Kathleen M. Becker of Grand Island, Maureen D. Ouellette of Terryville, Conn., and Sheila D. Lanz and Eileen D. Saracino, both of Buffalo; two brothers, Kevin W. of Williamsville and Patrick F. of Grand Island; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45 a.m. Monday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 885 Englewood Ave., Town of Tonawanda, following prayers at 10 in Dengler & Roberts Funeral Home, 3000 Delaware Ave., Kenmore. Interment is in Mount Olivet, Tonawanda.
