Manolis - Drehs

In Our Lady of Victory Basilica at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Christine Theresa Manolis exchanged nuptial vows with John Paul Drehs Jr. during a ceremony performed by the Rev. Daniel J. Fawls. A reception was given in Michael's Banquet Facility for the newly married couple, who will be at home in Lackawanna after a trip to Orlando, Fla. The bride is the daughter of Michael G. and Patricia A. Manolis of Hamburg and the bridegroom is the son of Marietta Jo Drehs of Buffalo. The bride is a graduate of Bryant & Stratton College and is a customer service sales representative of Classifieds Plus. The bridegroom was graduated from Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School and is a service adviser at Amherst Chevrolet.

St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church was the setting as Sheila B. Heilig and Dennis E. Banks Jr. were married at 5 p.m. Friday. The Rev. C. Clark Hubbard and Deacon Edward Kusmierczyk heard their vows. A reception was given in Fontana's Banquet Center for the daughter of Joseph P. and Nancy R. Heilig of Buffalo and the son of Christine A. Hoffman of Boynton Beach, Fla., and the late Dennis E. Banks Sr. A graduate of South Park High School, the bride is an administrative assistant employed by Nurses United, CWA Local 1168. The bridegroom, a graduate of Hutchinson-Central Technical High School, is senior machine operator with Niagara Tying Service. After a stay in Toronto, the couple will live in Buffalo.

Jaime L. Watson and Darren A. Ertel were united in marriage at 1 :30 p.m. Saturday in St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, Cheektowaga, by the Rev. Joseph H. Penkaul. A reception was given in Kiebzak's Beginnings before the newly married couple left for a trip to Hawaii. The bride is the daughter of Howard and Patricia Watson of Depew and the bridegroom is the son of David and Cheryl Ertel of Cheektowaga. The bride, a graduate of Lancaster High School, is a receptionist with Eye Care Professionals of Western New York. The bridegroom, who attended Maryvale High School, is employed by McKesson Pharmaceutical, West Seneca. The couple will make their home in Depew.

The bride, a graduate of Lake Shore Central High School, is a collections representative with Account Solutions Group. The bridegroom, a graduate of Frontier Central High School and ITT Technical Institute with honors, is a network operator for Delaware North Cos. After traveling to Maui, Hawaii, the newly married couple will make their home in Buffalo.

A reception was given in Shanghai Red's restaurant for the newly married couple, who are traveling to Hilton Head Island, S.C. The bride, who has a master's degree, teaches art in Colonial Village Elementary School in Niagara Wheatfield School District.
