Private services were held in Arizona for Henry F. Frankiewicz, a retired Buffalo police officer.
Mr. Frankiewicz died Aug. 16 in his daughter's Phoenix home after an illness. He was 76.
Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Burgard High School. He worked at Twin Coach Aircraft before joining the police department in 1958.
Mr. Frankiewicz was a member of the department's motorcycle division for 20 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Buffalo Police Benevolent Association.
He and his wife were seasonal residents of Arizona.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, the former Florence Napora of Buffalo; a daughter, Lynette Iresabal; a son, Dennis of Phoenix; and four grandchildren.
