NIAGARA FALLS -- Frank A. Williams, a former employee of Frontier Bronze Co., died Thursday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Buffalo, after a long illness. He was 48.
The city native attended local schools. He served in the Army from April 1975 to December 1976.
Mr. Williams was a laborer at Frontier Bronze for several years before retiring because of ill health.
Survivors include his father, Johnnie Sr., and his stepmother, Louise, both of Niagara Falls; a son, Amr Sledge of Syracuse; four sisters, Rebecca Archie, Lola Coldallah, Lorraine Riley and Shirley Lampkin; and three brothers, Johnnie Jr., Darryl and Dwandell, all of Niagara Falls; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Rhoney Funeral Home, 1124 Ontario Ave. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
