Melissa D. Turner, a caregiver, died Tuesday in Sisters Hospital of pneumonia. She was 37.
A native of Omar, W.Va., she attended Lafayette High School.
She had worked as a caregiver at the St. Augustine Center.
Ms. Turner studied the Bible with the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include three sons, Marcus A. Turner and Dashaua Holmes, both of Buffalo, and Dominic Medzmezia of Albany; her parents, Diane Robinson and Robert D.; two brothers, Robert D. III and Marka; and her grandmother, Roberta Sesum, all of Buffalo; and one grandchild.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday preceded by a wake at 3 in Providence Memorial Chapel, 1275 Sycamore St. Burial is private.
