Zerlene O. Chapman May 12, 1922 -- Sept. 10, 2005

Zerlene O. Chapman, an Evangelist missionary for New Jerusalem Revival Center, died Saturday while visiting in Anderson, S.C., after a brief illness. She was 83.

Born Zerlene Brown in West Point, Texas, she attended West Point High School and lived in Niagara Falls for more than 50 years.

A homemaker, she formerly worked as a housekeeper for neighbors.

Mrs. Chapman enjoyed quilting and baking.

Her husband, Raymond Sr., died in 2000.

Survivors include two daughters, Sally of Buffalo and Jeanita of Niagara Falls; four sons, Raymond Jr. of Niagara Falls, Louis Sr. of San Antonio, Timothy of Albion and Lorenzo of Newport News, Va.; and many grandchil-
dren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in New Jerusalem Revival Center, 2723 20th St. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
