Amy Watson, a longtime cook at many local restaurants, died Tuesday in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, after a brief illness. She was 80.
Born Amy Dancer in Niagara Falls, she graduated from Trott Vocational High School.
She cooked for 30 years at Friendly Tavern here and also worked at many other restaurants.
She enjoyed baking cookies, shopping and watching television with her cat, Baby.
Her husband of 25 years, George, died in 1970.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Castellani, Jean Potter and Mary Enzinna, all of Niagara Falls; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Spallino-Amigone Funeral Home, 1300 Pine Ave. Entombment will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
