Lois S. Duggan, a Town of Tonawanda homemaker, died Tuesday in Sisters Hospital after a long illness. She was 85.
She was born Lois Streng in Buffalo and attended Annunciation High School and North Park Business School. She lived in Buffalo until 1941, when she and her husband lived briefly in Seattle, San Antonio, Bronxville and Yardley, Pa. They settled in the Town of Tonawanda in 1951.
She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She participated in the St. Francis Guild at St. Francis Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James T.; two daughters, Sheila D. Rosenecker of Amherst and Anne E. of the Town of Tonawanda; two sons, James F. of the Town of Tonawanda and John E. of Buffalo; a sister, Adair A. Holroyd of Vienna, Va.; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Rose of Lima Church, 500 Parker Ave. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
