Marcia V. Kramer of East Aurora, a retired Buffalo Public Schools teacher's aide, died Sunday in the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Cheektowaga, after a long battle with cancer. She was 67.
Born Marcia V. Nawotka in Buffalo, she attended Kensington High School.
She worked as a teacher's aide at School 43 from 1967 to 1977, when she retired for health reasons.
She lived in the East Lovejoy section of Buffalo for many years before moving to East Aurora 31 years ago.
Mrs. Kramer was a longtime member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Spring Brook.
She enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening and playing the piano. She was a member of the Marilla Seniors and a former member of the Buffalo Fire Department's women's auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, John R.; four daughters, Kathleen Rapp of Marilla, Debbie Ellison of Holland, Natalie Dryden of Attica and Colleen Monin of Arcade; a sister, Jeanette Reis of Cheektowaga; and 10 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6441 Seneca St., Spring Brook.
