Agnes M. Michalski, formerly of Buffalo, died Sunday in Monongahela, Pa., of natural causes. She was 78.
Born Agnes Burison in Vanderbilt, Pa., she moved to the Buffalo area after World War II and graduated from Villa Maria College. She moved to Monongahela in 1983.
While living in Buffalo, Mrs. Michalski was a sales clerk at Sattler's on Broadway. In addition, she was a real estate agent and a secretary at various businesses.
Mrs. Michalski was a past president of St. James Catholic Church in Depew and a past president of the Ladies Guild of St. Joseph Hospital, Cheektowaga.
Her husband of 39 years, Raymond, died in 1986.
Surviving are a daughter,
Karen Jankowski of Eighty Four, Pa.; a son, Kevin of Lancaster; two brothers, Steve Burison of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Bob Burison of Johnson City, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 9 p.m. Wednesday in Pacer Funeral Home, 2275 George Urban Blvd., Depew. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
