Legislature changes meeting to Tuesday

LITTLE VALLEY -- The Cattaraugus County Legislature has changed this week's meeting date to accommodate several lawmakers who plan to be out of town Wednesday for the New York State Association of Counties' annual convention.

Legislators will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday instead of Wednesday's usual 3 p.m. meeting time. A joint Finance/County Operations Committee meeting has been scheduled in the Large Committee Room immediately following the legislative session.

Also, a public hearing will be held at 3:01 p.m. Sept. 28 on a local law changing the Cattaraugus Empire Zone boundaries, a postponement from the scheduled 3:01 p.m. Wednesday time.

All meetings are held in the third-floor Legislative Chambers at the County Center, 303 Court St.
