STORY HOUR: Signups for story hours will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Youngstown Library, 240 Lockport St., and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Ransomville Library, 3733 Ransomville Road, for the preschool programs. Classes begin next week.

WATERSHED: People interested in the Oak Orchard watershed can review a nearly final draft of a report on the state of the watershed at a public hearing 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Orleans County Soil and Water Conservation District office, 446 West Ave., Albion. DOG LICENSES: Buffalo will issue new dog licenses and license renewals from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of School 84, 462 Grider St. The licenses will be issued during a rabies clinic. Dog owners renewing licenses must supply a copy of the expired license or bring the renewal form they received by mail.

MUSIC CLASSES: The Lake Effect Harmony Chorus is holding new-member classes for women older than 18 Wednesday. For more information and to reserve a spot, call 627-4894.

BARBECUE: The PTA of Dr. George E. Blackman Early Childhood Center 54 will sponsor a Chiavetta's barbecue Wednesday at the school, 2358 Main St. Festivities will begin at 5 p.m., with dinner at 5:30, followed by parents and pupils meeting their teachers and visiting classrooms.
