Niagara Falls Police said Friday that a 14-year-old boy will be tried as an adult for a first-degree felony robbery involving a gun.

The Pierce Avenue boy was arrested Thursday afternoon and held without bail.

A 49-year-old North Avenue man told police three males dressed in dark clothing with bandannas covering their faces entered his home at 11 p.m. on Monday. He said one of them pointed a silver semiautomatic handgun at his face, bent him over, walked him into his bedroom and made him get down on his knees. The man told police that the boy struck him in the back with a gun and told the man's wife, who was lying on the bed, not to look at him.

He said the boy told him to open his dresser drawer, removed his wallet and took $303.

Police said the man's wife was able to identify one boy, and he was later arrested.
