Funeral services for Fannie Kranitz, 92, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Temple Beth Israel, 905 College Ave., Niagara Falls.
Burial will be in Beth Israel Cemetery, Lewiston.
Mrs. Kranitz died Thursday at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after a short illness.
Born in Buffalo, Mrs. Kranitz was raised in Niagara Falls, where she attended high school. She married Frank Kranitz and worked in two clothing stores her husband owned in Niagara Falls.
She retired in the early 1980s, and most recently lived at Basset Park Manor in Amherst.
Mrs. Kranitz was an artist, who enjoyed working with pottery and beads. She liked to read, and was a member of the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Israel and Hadassah.
Her husband died in 1992.
Mrs. Kranitz is survived by two sons, Alan of East Amherst and Marvin of Kenmore; a sister, Ruth Taube of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Samuel Kranitz of Niagara Falls and Nelson Kranitz of Carlsbad, Calif.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
