TEEN ADMITS ROLE IN HOME INVASION

A Niagara Falls teenager pleaded guilty Thursday in Niagara County Court to taking part in a home invasion in that city July 16.

Cory R. Lewis, 17, of Lincoln Street, is to be sentenced for attempted second-degree burglary July 7 by Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza.

Lewis and a co-defendant, David C. McCartney, 18, of 81st Street, were charged with entering a College Avenue home and hitting the homeowner on the head with a full bottle of vodka before stealing his wallet and coin collection.
