Moodie Riley of Buffalo, a retired forklift operator, died Saturday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 82.
Born in Tunnel Spring, Ala., he moved to Buffalo as a young man.
He served in the Army during World War II.
For 20 years, until his retirement in 1985, he worked as a forklift operator for Ford Motor Co. in Buffalo.
Survivors include a daughter, Joann Robinson of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Atlean McCovery and Seland Loving, both of Buffalo; and three brothers, Eddie of Pensacola and Charles and Alvin, both of Buffalo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in United Memorial Funeral Home, 3272 Bailey Ave. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
